Meeting point 📍: Mont Caly car park, Route du Mont Caly, Les Gets (Carpooling between participants from the village is possible).
Agenda 📢: An end-of-day hike of 1h30 in the heart of a peaceful alpine pasture facing Mont Blanc, including a 30-minute Savoyard gourmet break on the ridges with a breathtaking panorama.
Distance ⛰: 3km to 5km, elevation: 180m to 250m – moderate effort and technical difficulty.
Participants 👥👤: Suitable for all the family, typically from age 5 and up.
What to bring 🥾:
Sturdy shoes with grippy soles (hiking or trail shoes) – ⚠ no smooth soles!
Small backpack (typically 15-20L).
Water bottle (minimum 750ml).
Sunglasses.
A long-sleeved top (e.g., fleece).
Lightweight trousers or convertible shorts.
A windproof/waterproof jacket.
(A lightweight down jacket for those who feel the cold.)
A camera for those who love beautiful shots.
Hand sanitiser gel to share a snack with clean hands.
Evenings in the mountains can be chilly, even in the height of summer, so to make the most of this unique moment in nature, bring extra layers to stay nice and warm.
