Terms & conditions
Professional mountain biking coaching & guiding services are regulated by law under article L 321 of the French Sports Code.
Participation : taking part in any of the activities described in the contents of this website requires a healthy condition (more details can be provided on request), a suitable equipment as well as the proper observance of the instructions provided by the guide/instructor in the field.
Supervision : In compliance with the French Sports Code, as a participant, you are under the supervision of a qualified MTB instructor within limits of his/her prerogatives.
Safety: the instructor may alter a route or session at any time according to contingencies such as (non-comprehensive list):
Weather conditions
Terrain conditions
Gear & equipment conformity (clothing, protection gear, bicycle...)
Fitness & technical skills of participants
Insurance : in compliance with article L 321-7 of the French Sports Code, a professional instructor must hold a valid public liability insurance regarding specific mountain biking activities. Participants personal insurance is discretionary but recommended.
Booking & payment : booking has to be made in advance, via e-mail, phone or in person and is subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is confirmed upon payment of a deposit greater than or equal to 20% of the total amount. Payments can either be made by check, cash, transfer of by card. A full payment is required prior to service delivery. By booking, you hereby acknowledge applicable service terms and contions.
Cancellation & rescheduling : no cancellation or rescheduling of service can occur under the following circumstances:
Poor weather conditions, unless an ongoing "orange weather notice" has been issued by national weather services in the area of the activity.
Service interruption due to inadequate fitness or technical level of any participant or caused by mechanical issues.
Improper gear or equipment (see Useful information for more details)
Refund : no refund will be granted under the following conditions:
Withdrawal with less than 48h notice, full payment will be requested.
Any of the aforementioned exclusions listed under "Cancellations & rescheduling.
Dispute – Consumer mediation: In the event of a dispute between the Customer and the company, they will endeavour to resolve it amicably (the Customer will send a written complaint to the professional or, if necessary, to the Professional's Customer Relations Department). In the absence of an amicable agreement or in the absence of a response from the professional within a reasonable period of one (1) month, the Consumer Customer within the meaning of Article L.133-4 of the Consumer Code has the possibility to seize free of charge, if a disagreement remains, the competent mediator registered on the list of mediators established by the Commission for the Evaluation and Control of Consumer Mediation pursuant to Article L.615-1 of the Consumer Code, namely: La Société Médiation Professionnelle, https://www.mediateur-consommation-smp.fr, 24 rue Albert de Mun - 33000 Bordeaux.
